Control Arm Bushing Wishbone Service
The OEM rubber bushing is toast by 75K more or less. Not replacing this bushing will lead to bad tire wear, wheel bearing issues, vibration in corners and under braking. Spend a few dollars more and upgrade to a set of PowerFlex Bushings for better performance and longer life. For our hardcore drivers think about the Alta Positive Steering Response System.
While it’s not an easy DIY it is something you can do at home. One of the hardest parts is removing the old OEM bushing. We are taking care of that for you at AutoXCooper with the help of our friends www.thecoopershopinc.com. Just place your order below and we’ll ship out the Wishbone with your desired bushing installed, you do the exchange and send yours back for a core refund. Refund will be given on useable cores only. If you know your part/s are broken let us know and we’ll get you a replacement set for the core charge.
We stock the PowerFlex and have a set ready to go 99% of the time. We don’t stock the Alta PSRS but can get them, install them and ship them in about 5 biz days.
To help the MINI Family we are no longer charging an upfront core fee.
Due to limited number of cores placing the below order you understand that other MINI owners are waiting for your core within 20 days of the day you received this order. If you don’t return the core within 20 days we will send you a $100.00 PayPal invoice to replace the core needed to fill the next MINI Owners order.

Dustin’s Alignment Info
Here is my last/winter Alignment for your review. Note I have IE adjustable front camber plates and rear TSW arms to allow for the movement. Also note if you have adjustable rear arms you will want the Tech to pick an 06 or later MINI on the alignment computer to allow it/them to adjust your system to it’s best.
I run front camber of -1.3 in the winter and during the Track and AutoX season will move to -1.8 and please rotate your tires every 5,000 miles for more miles.
You can see my Front Toe settings. I know there’s much debate about toe settings but I stick to SPEC. You may do whatever you like just make sure you understand the full impact of toe settings on tire wear before setting them out of SPEC.
